I see so many clients that have been struggling for years with anxiety and stress. Clients of all ages and sadly enough many even kids between the ages of 14 to 20 years old. I think it’s important to note that most people have anxiety and stress of some kind at some point in their life.  It is normal to have a certain amount of stress and anxiety. It is also unrealistic to think you will never have these feelings again.

Hypnosis for Stress & Anxiety

Hypnosis reduces your anxiety and stress by working with your unconscious mind. Simply telling yourself to, ‘stop it’ on a conscious level is often not successful. Telling your story repeatedly on a conscious level often does nothing to help either. Having had years of my own anxiety and stress I understand from my own experiences what it feels like to be anxious for no reason. Then people will ask, “what are you anxious about’? If I knew why I was anxious I would fix it.

When you use the tools of hypnosis, EFT, and NLP to stop or reduce your anxiety and stress, you begin to experience the freedom you have been wanting. The mind becomes quieter and you can be present and in the moment of peace and tranquility. Does it mean you will be walking around never feeling anxious or stressed again? I think that is unrealistic as we are geared as humans to be in fight or flight mode. Instead, hypnosis helps you to train your mind and create new neural pathways, so you can be better prepared on how to handle the feelings associated with anxiety and stress.

Many clients after using the tools of EFT and self-hypnosis that I teach during my programs report that they are often able to reduce their feelings of stress and anxiety. If they are an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 they are often able, using EFT and self-hypnosis to reduce that level down to a 1 or 2 and sometimes zero it out altogether!

Tips to Reduce Anxiety

There are many things you can do to reduce your anxiety before experiencing hypnosis.

  1. Reduce your caffeine intake or eliminate it completely.
  2. Stop watching the news.
  3. Do not fall asleep with the TV on all night.
  4. Reduce your hours of social media.
  5. Use affirmations prior to bed such as the famous auto-suggestion by Emile Coue “Every day in every way I am getting better and better.” Saying this 20 times as you are falling to sleep has amazing results with many of my clients. The time as we are falling off to sleep is when our brain is in an alpha state and most programmable. Unfortunately, that is also when you usually lay there with your mind racing stressing about all the worries and fears.
