As a proud member of the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists) I am always learning more through the organization about different techniques to be used to help my clients with various issues.
The amount of continuing education which is required and often provided by the NGH in invaluable in the techniques I bring to you as a client.
There are many misconceptions about what hypnosis IS… and what it is not.
Why hypnosis works so well
You — and everyone else — is capable of being hypnotized because you and everyone else has a conscious and a subconscious mind. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, and your hypnotist is simply your guide through the process.
Hypnosis is both physical and mental relaxation.
It allows your busy thinking conscious mind to take a break while through various techniques we speak directly to the subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is a willing servant waiting for you to decide exactly what you want so IT can go do what it is you want it to do.
And just as easily as you have programmed (hypnotized) your subconscious into not liking your body the way it is and gaining weight, this SAME process is what we use to change the messages you give your subconscious mind.
This allows you to make the changes you have already decided you want in your life.
Using hypnosis to reprogram your subconscious mind to…
- make better food choice, and
- reduce your portion size
This is an extremely effective way to help you reduce your weight and increase your level activity naturally without side effects.
What happens during a hypnosis session?
Giving your subconscious mind what it is that you want to accomplish during your hypnosis session often through direct suggestion allows for the natural process of your body and mind to make the exact correct food choices to reach the goals you have set.
This will occur in a natural way without the struggle of feeling deprived and hungry.
Your body knows exactly what it needs when it needs it and your mind will follow your direction to get to the desired weight loss and goals. Hypnosis helps you quiet the mind and through relaxation and your imagination, you will create your desired results. Imagine what it would be like if you could achieve your weight loss goals easily and without pain or the feeling of deprivation. It is easy for you to remember what you used to look like when you were at your desired weight.
Through these visualizations during hypnosis it is easy for your subconscious mind to help you to achieve your desired weight loss goals.
There are all types of techniques I will use during your weight loss sessions such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and various forms of hypnosis. The continuing education courses I am taking regularly help me tailor the session that is just right for you to accomplish your weight loss goals.
One of the many wonderful things about hypnosis is you do not have to come to my office to receive the benefits.
I often do online tele-hypnosis and Tele-Hypnosis which is just as effective as hypnosis in person.
Hypnosis works as a result of the spoken word during your hypnotic trance like state. This creates you to be in a realm like sleep state allowing your subconscious mind to accept the messages it needs to accomplish your goal. Since this takes place as a result of hearing my voice, it does not matter whether it is through the phone, skype or in person.
I look forward to hearing from you today for a free phone consultation so I can help you through hypnosis reach your weight loss goals.
