Scrabble tiles spelling out the word Fear

We all have fears and phobias as part of our human experience.

Most people are afraid of something in life, and to greater or lesser degrees as to how it may affect your day to day living.

I have treated people with all types of phobias and fears. Phobias and fears can have many symptoms.

Some of the symptoms may or may not be…

  • an increased heart rate
  • heavy breathing
  • increased blood pressure
  • sweaty palms

usually leaving a person overwhelmed and modifying their life to avoid those feelings.

Understanding Fears and Phobias

Fear is a feeling which comes out of the natural fight or flight mechanism we have within us and is a rational feeling. It is fear which will protect us from harm and danger.

A phobia, however, is an irrational thought and can inhibit your ability to live a full and complete life.

As humans we have a fight or flight response and our adrenal glands secrete a surge of hormones called epinephrine in our bodies. This was designed for us to escape danger.

Unfortunately, many of us have this response to everyday life such as:

  • a toy clown dollflying on an airplane (Aviophobia)
  • riding in an elevator or being in small spaces (Claustrophobia)
  • taking a cruise (Naviphobia)
  • swimming (Aquaphobia)
  • taking an exam (Testophobia)
  • seeing bugs or snakes (Entomophobia or Ophidiophobia)
  • dying (Thanatophobia)
  • sickness (Hypochondriasis)
  • needles (Aichmophobia or Belonephobia)
  • hospitals (Nosocomephobia)
  • and even the fear of clowns! (Coulrophobia)

This list can go on forever as we are all unique and everyone has their own experiences in life creating your own individual phobias.

I have worked with clients that, after a few sessions, can travel on an airplane to visit their children and grandchildren. Others have been able to take a long desired vacation.

When you are afraid of living you are not living!

Hypnosis to the rescue!

How Hypnosis Can Help Overcome Fears and Phobias

Hypnosis creates a relaxed state which is safe and drug free with no side effects. Many refer to it as a brain massage. In just a few hypnosis sessions your life can change so drastically for the better you can start to live the way you always wanted.

Hypnosis is extremely successful in eliminating phobias and is safe and long lasting.

Your subconscious mind is powerful and will realize through a few hypnosis sessions the irrationality of the phobia. We will get to the root of the problem and change the thoughts which created the phobia in the first place. There are a wide variety of techniques I will use to help you with your phobia such as visualization, auto-suggestions, NLP, EFT and hypnosis.

All of these methods combined help the subconscious mind realize the irrationality of the thought which creates the phobia.

You can experience this in the comfort of your own home.

Often people who have the fear of traveling, flying or agoraphobia take advantage of my online webcam hypnotherapy sessions from their own home, office or hotel using their webcam on the laptop and a headset I am able to work with you to eradicate the phobia once and for all.
